Police in Cavalier got a call just before 8 p.m. regarding an allegedly reckless other. The caller said the other was swerving. A Pembina County sheriff's deputy found the other, which sped away. The deputy pursued the other through Cavalier until the other entered a ditch, struck a field approach and rolled. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed.
