Police were called just after 6:30 p.m. in response to a domestic disturbance. Demetrius Roberts allegedly began to shoot at officers as they stepped out of their cars, and as the officers returned fire, Roberts fled. After a short foot pursuit, the officers re-engaged Roberts and shot and killed him.
