Two officers were in a squad car doing a suspicious-other check. When they approached a car, a passenger got out and ran, and one of the officers chased after him. Police said Demetrious Brooks hopped a fence, and the officer followed. Brooks and the officer got into a struggle over a gun and the officer shot and killed him.
