Police were called around 7:15 a.m. for loud noises and yelling. Police say there was blood near the door, and they entered an apartment and found Delano R. Smith with wounds on his body. The apartment was trashed with broken windows and mirrors, holes in the walls and broken furniture. Police said they tried to calm Smith down and tasered Smith several times before he stopped resisting and died.
