Deandre Baldon and at least two other teenagers were chasing a car and shooting at it. Following a other then a foot chase, Officer Gerald Smith fatally shot Deandre Baldon when he saw the youth's "shiny metal" belt buckle glimmering in the dark and thought it was a gun.
