Deadly force

DeAndre Johnson was shot while officers were trying to serve a temporary protection order in an apartment. Johnson had allegedly threatened a woman and held a gun to her head. About 4:30 p.m., seven officers went to the apartment to serve the order. Johnson reportedly became aggravated. One of the officers began to place Johnson in handcuffs. Johnson allegedly resisted, resulting in a struggle. When Johnson grabbed an officer's gun, the officer shot and killed him.
