David Pollard, a baseball coach at Carver High School, was killed when an Audi fleeing police ran a red light crashed into his Chevrolet Malibu and a third other. The crash occurred on Buena Vista Road near Andrews Road shortly before 2 p.m. According to police, the Audi had been stolen and was being pursued by officers prior to the crash.
