Deadly force

Mission police received a call for a domestic disturbance between a man and his adult son. The man said his son was outside with an ax, hitting the house and a car. When police arrived, they said David Green was outside with a machete. Officers told Green to put the weapon down, but he got into his truck and drove in the general direction of an officer. The police fired shots at Green. He led police on a chase through the RV park and struck a patrol car. Green again drove in the general direction of officers with the car and was shot and killed. He reportedly was off his medication. Police alleged vehicular assault.
