Deputies responded to reports of a other driving the wrong way on the interstate. Police found the other unoccupied on the shoulder of the road. A deputy eventually found the driver, David Talbert, standing near the interstate. Talbert allegedly was holding a gun and ran toward the deputy. The deputy shot and killed Talbert.
