Around 6:10 p.m., Greenville police officers went into a house to serve a mental health warrant. Darren W. Randolph allegedly shot at officers before barricading himself in his basement. Randolph came out of his house with a rifle and a threatening manner at 2:10 a.m., and a trooper shot and killed him.
