Former Ocala officer Shawn Sigler said that he and another officer had been drinking at his house before a fatal motorcycle crash in September. Sigler resigned from the police department in the midst of an internal affairs investigation regarding the Sept. 19 crash that killed off-duty 43-year-old Officer Daniel Wagner. Sigler was riding together with Wagner on a different motorcycle when the crash happened.
