Police received a 911 call from someone at an apartment about a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the officers allegedly were confronted by a man with an undisclosed weapon. Four officers shot and killed him. This was Officer Bryce Willsey's first killing. He would go on to kill three more people by June 2021.
