Officers responded at about 8 p.m. to the Flying J Travel Plaza because a man in the parking lot was "exhibiting erratic behavior and causing a disturbance." Officers found truck driver Daniel Hamilton behaving "in an extremely bizarre manner," according to sheriff Tom Templeton. Hamilton was taken to a hospital where coroner Jody Bernard pronounced him dead at 8:44 p.m. Bernard said an autopsy was performed, and that "preliminary results indicate the death was drug-related."
