Fort Worth police were notified by a police agency in Florida about Daniel Geiger posting a threat on social media to harm himself, police said. Police found his other and stopped to check on his welfare. The man then allegedly produced a weapon and fired it at officers before fleeing the location. Police pursued the man and gunfire was exchanged, killing Geiger.
