After wielding a kitchen knife, yelling obscenities and challenging two San Anselmo police officers to shoot him, 29-year-old Daniel Frederickson was shot in the torso at 11:02 a.m. Dec. 16 in a quiet neighborhood across the street from Wade Thomas Elementary School." The entire incident took 1 minute, 42 seconds from the arrival of the officers to the call that a shot had been fired.
