Daniel "Danny" Cook Jr. reportedly drove to off-duty officer Josh Rigney's home and shot and wounded Rigney. Lewiston police chased Cook, who reportedly shot at officers while fleeing in his other. Four officers stopped Cook at 13th Street and Burrell Avenue, where they shot and killed him.
