Craig Burdine died after being tasered three times by police. He was unarmed during the incident. He was tasered during a struggle with deputies while in jail. He went into cardiac arrest, and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Media reports don't state categorically whether he was booked, so this incident may be outside of FatalEncounters dataset, which does not include individuals after they've been booked into the jail or prison system.
