Diamond was the blameless driver of a Ford Taurus slammed into and killed by a stolen U-Haul truck full of stolen merchandise in a police chase. The driver of the truck had run a police roadblock and three red lights, with local officers in hot pursuit, when he reached the same intersection as Diamond.
