Colby Smith allegedly robbed two convenience stores and attempted to rob a Farmers & Merchants Bank. Smith fled on a reportedly stolen Suzuki motorcycle. Police chased him at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. The chase passed through two counties before he crashed into a Colleton County Sheriff's Office other, killing him.
