Around 8:40 p.m., a trooper tried to stop a Ford car for speeding. The driver initially stopped but sped away. As the trooper tried to pass the fleeing other, the driver of the Ford traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. Driver Chy-eem Dreqwon Bobbitt was killed.
