Police pursued a 37-year-old woman for 22 miles because she fled the scene of an accident in Meriwether County. She had three children in the car. The high-speed pursuit by Luthersville police ended in the death of Chuck Vicha who was leaving a grocery store in a parking lot of a shopping center. The driver, Lorraine McCrary, 37, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
