Police were called around 7 p.m. after a woman called 911 to report a man with a gun had arrived at her home. When police arrived and the woman tried to escape, Christopher Walker reportedly shot and killed her with a handgun. Walker then shot at officers and attempted to run. A deputy was shot and wounded. Police and sheriff's deputies continued to pursue Walker after the deputy was shot, and police shot Walker. Walker then reportedly shot and killed himself.
