Deadly force
Police attempted to pull over Christopher Ulmer for an alleged DUI and Ulmer fled in his other. Multiple police units pursued Ulmer at high speeds for two hours. Ulmer stopped several times during the chase; the third time police were able to spin out Ulmer's car with a PIT maneuver. Ulmer exited the car and fled away from police with a dark object in his hand. Several officers open fired and killed Ulmer. The dark object in his hand was an eyeglasses case.
