Less-than-lethal force

Deputies responded to a disturbance at Centerstone Florida, Bradenton's mental health and addiction treatment facility. Employees at Centerstone called the sheriff's office when Erdman showed up at the facility and began acting erratically. Deputies tried to secure Erdman but he resisted, so they used Tasers and eventually handcuffed him. He died at the scene.
