Robbery suspect Christopher D. Zetterlof, 43, died shortly after the shooting at a hotel. Zetterlof was suspected of robbing the Honeywell Aerospace Credit Union. During the robbery, the suspect fired a gunshot when a credit union employee didn't initially respond to his demand for money, police said. A struggle ensued when two officers tried to arrest him at the hotel. Zetterlof shot Officer Dave Hass in the abdomen, and the police officers shot and killed him.
