Deadly force

Right after Buquet had shot acquaintance Frank James, 29, he led police on a five mile car chase, during which he allegedly fired a semi-automatic pistol at three bystanders and the police vehicles. Police state that while his car was sliding out of control on a curve near Osprey Point, they saw him raise his hand "in a fashion that is indicative of his taking aim back at them with a handgun". After his car hit a barrier cable and stopped, officers Mario Rios, Eric Johnson, Bryan Alexander, and Brady Reed fired 77 rounds at the car, killing him.
