Deadly force

An officer attempted to pull Chelsae Clevenger-Kirk over while riding her motorcycle as she wasn't wearing a helmet and her bike did not have tags. She reportedly refused to stop and continued to her home and went inside. The officer attempted to make contact with Clevenger-Kirk and was unable. While walking back to his patrol car, the officer reportedly heard shots fired in the residence. A standoff began, and Clevenger-Kirk reportedly set fire to her home. Clevenger-Kirk eventually exited her home, allegedly holding a gun. Police shot and killed her. Family members were started by tear gas canisters police fired into the home.
