Officers responded to calls about shots fired around 12:30 a.m. Officers located what they said was the suspect other. Officers pursued until the other lost control and drove onto the sidewalk. There was an exchange of gunfire, and the driver of the other fled into a nearby neighborhood. Officers located the man in the neighborhood and a second shootout took place. Police shot and killed the alleged driver of the other.
