Chassie Holifield and her stepdaughter, Erica Holyfield, died when a car driven by Nicholas Jackson fled a police checkpoint and later T-boned Chassie's car at an intersection. Erica died that day. Chassie sustained critical injuries, from which she later died on Nov. 1, 2013.
