A pursuit began about 5:20 p.m. when a deputy saw an erratically driven other and unsuccessfully tried to stop it. The chase included a Washington State Patrol Trooper who unsuccessfully attempted to use a tire-deflation device.The chase ultimately ended in Tumwater, where the man's other struck a retaining wall, and he ran to a local business' parking lot. Patrons of the business cornered the man in the parking lot until a deputy took him into custody, reportedly without incident, until the symptoms of death came upon him.
