Witnesses say two men were breaking into cars at the apartment complex at around 3:00, stealing stereos and CDs. When police made it to the scene, witnesses say one of the burglars raised what appeared to be a weapon. An officer then fired his gun and struck the suspect, who was taken to a local hospital where he died.
