Police came to the Farmingdale home about 10:30 p.m. after 911 operators received a call from someone who said he had been stabbed by his brother and was dying. Tsakiris answered the door and then refused commands by police to drop a bladed weapon. He then approached and challenged officers, who shot and killed him.
