Officers with Seaside police responded to a report of an armed man encountered Cashus Dean Case in an RV park at 1:30 p.m. Case was allegedly angry that a man had been mauled by a dog in the RV Park and was armed with two black powder pistols holstered on his belt and threatened to kill the dog. Case pointed one of the pistols at the officers while reaching for his second pistol. An officer ordered Case to drop the weapons to no effect. The officer shot and killed Case with an AR-15 rifle
