Deadly force
Police were called to Kingsley's home twice for domestic disturbances in the same morning. On the second visit Kingsley produced a knife and cut three officers, two of them seriously, before being fatally shot. She'd had a long history of mental health issues and substance abuse problems, and had only recently been released from psychiatric treatment.
