Olguin, wanted by the police, fled from an attempted traffic stop at an apartment complex. Police chased him about seven blocks while he drove recklessly, causing a number of minor collisions, etc., at an estimated 70 MPH on city streets. The chase ended when Olguin crashed, fatally, running a red light at an intersection.
