Troopers were called to a home around 11 after a woman who went to the home to visit another woman said she saw a man's body inside.Evansville officers were called to the home. When officers arrived, they found 36-year-old Heidi Carter standing outside by a other. She told officers that there were other people inside the home, and she had a gun. After Carter was taken into custody, police surrounded the home and ordered everyone to come outside. Carey Hammond reportedly rushed out of the door with what appeared to be a gun in his hand. He was shot and killed. Police found a woman inside who was tied up and had visible injuries. Another man was found dead inside the home.
