One person was killed and four others were injured Friday in a crash after a police chase that began in Roxana and went to Madison near Gateway International Speedway, police said. Pronounced dead at the scene was Candice B. Freiboth, 28, of Granite City. Freiboth was thrown from the pickup that was being chased.
