Deadly force

Police attempted to make a traffic stop of Wallace's other, a red Lincoln Continental, because it matched a car used in an armed robbery earlier in the day. Wallace sped away from the traffic stop. He hit two other vehicles before colliding head-on into a third, which stopped him. He then started a firefight with two pursuing officers and was fatally shot.
