Around 4:30 p.m. Slidell police were called to a Circle K gas station about a stabbing. Two people were stabbed before officers arrived. When police arrived, they encountered a man they believed to be the suspect, and then shot and killed him. Details as to what precipitated the killing were withheld by police.
