Deadly force
Officers arrived at a domestic disturbance involved a husband, wife, two young children, and the husband's parents. The husband's father was seriously hurt, and medical personnel treated him. Police decided the husband was the aggressor. The wife and children were barricaded in the home with the husband. Police said the man charged the officers with a kitchen knife around 3:37 a.m., and Officers Brent Farrar, Kyle Putnam and Tyler Sharp shot and killed him.
