A car reported stolen out of East Texas. An officer spotted the car around 12:38 p.m. and followed. Police said there was no high-speed chase, and the officer lost sight of the car when it fled at high speeds before crashing into a house. The crash caught the unoccupied house on fire and killed the passenger in the front seat. Travion Jamario D'andre Jefferson, 19, was allegedly at the wheel of the 2008 Infiniti.
