Around 8 p.m., deputies were trying to stop a car being driven by Brandon Mauldin, who had outstanding warrants for first-degree domestic violence, resisting arrest and receiving stolen goods. Deputies found out where Mauldin was staying and approached the residence, but Mauldin fled. A short pursuit arrived to a dead end behind a home. Mauldin's truck got stuck, and deputies got out to order Mauldin to give himself up. Deputies shot and killed Mauldin.
