Police encountered Bradley Pugh around 10 p.m. when they were called to investigate a person with a gun on the roof of Ted's Bar-B-Q. After several hours of negotiation, Pugh agreed to come down a ladder. Police reportedly thought the man was surrendering, but instead he fled, pulling a gun from his waistband and pointing it back at police. Multiple officers shot and killed Pugh.
