According to police, Rosemarie Forker crashed a stolen 1999 Chevrolet Silverado into a 1999 Camaro driven by Bradley Downing III. Downing died. Forker and passenger Jeffrey Kent Holland, 19, were injured. Police said officer Daniel Lovelace spotted the Silverado around 1 a.m. at the intersection of McQueen and Chandler and turned around to follow the truck. Police said the officer didn't have his lights and sirens on and followed about a quarter mile behind the truck, radioing for another unit to put out stop sticks. The truck ran a red light and hit the Camaro about two miles into the pursuit, before the other officer arrived.
