Reportedly off-duty Dallas police officer Amber R. Guyger, 30, said she walked into an apartment that wasn't hers, mistaking it for her own, and shot and killed the legitimate occupant, Botham Shem Jean, when he didn't comply with her orders. Guyger was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 10 years.
