Deadly force
Moore and two other teens were in a stolen other when they allegedly attempted to run down a police officer. The officer shot into the car, striking and killing Moore. The investigation determined that the other was either stopped or moving in reverse, away from the officer. Officer Josh Hastings has been charged with manslaughter and is currently awaiting trial.
