Biography

Benyamin Jangjou was an eight-year-old Iranian primary school student who lived in the city of Minab. He attended classes at Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School, where he spent his days studying and learning alongside other young students. On 1 March 2026, he was among dozens of children present when missiles struck the school during a reported air strike amid the regional conflict. Benyamin died in the attack, becoming one of the many young victims whose deaths drew international attention and condemnation.

Benyamin Jangjou was a young student from Minab, a coastal city in southern Iran. At only eight years old, he was in the early years of his primary education and attended Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School. Like many children his age, his daily life centered on school, family, and friends.

On the morning of 1 March 2026, while classes were underway, missiles struck the school building during an air strike linked to the escalating regional conflict between Iran and its adversaries.
