At Rest

Deadly force
Benjamin Selgado had outstanding warrants for felony possession of a firearm and trafficking of a controlled substance, which may have been why he fled being pulled over for speeding. He jumped out of his other and continued to flee on foot. After jumping a fence into a motel parking lot, police said Selgado ran behind a corner and approached officer Bryan Conner with a handgun. He was shot and killed.
This record exists so that Benjamin Selgado, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
