Bayley Wanser and another man allegedly tried to break into the ATM machine in the drive-through at the Chase Bank. As police pursued, at about 70 mph, Wanser lost control of the SUV, struck a curb, went over grass and a sidewalk and into a small pond. The water was deep and officers ordered the two suspects to swim to the shore. Wanser couldn't swim and drowned even though officers reportedly tried to help him.
