Deadly force

At 9 p.m., officers were called in reference to a sexual battery. Police met with the victim, who provided a description of her attacker, including that he rode off on a bicycle. Nearby, an officer spotted a man on a bicycle who matched the description. As police tried to confront him, he fled on foot, and the officer chased him. During the pursuit, the officer shot and killed the man.
